Ingredients
Quick Frangipane
- 1/3 cup (30 g) almond flour
- 3 tablespoons (45 ml) dairy-free margarine, melted
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) almond or vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
Oatmeal
- 1 1/3 cups (140 g) quick-cooking rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) almond or oat milk
- 1 tablespoons (15 ml) maple syrup or more to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) vanilla extract
Toppings
- Toasted sliced almonds
- A little powdered sugar if desired!

Quick Frangipane
- Mix all the ingredients in a small bowl. Add a little almond flour if the mixture is too liquid.
Oatmeal
- Combine all the oatmeal ingredients in a small saucepan over a medium heat. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, or until the oatmeal is the consistency you prefer. Add milk if necessary to make it creamier.
- Serve the oatmeal in two bowls, sprinkle with the frangipane, toasted almonds and a little icing sugar if you like!
