Roasted Strawberry Toast
This toast will take you to paradise. I’m not even exaggerating. Grilled strawberries are now my new obsession. I recommend doubling the recipe so you have extra to put on oatmeal or yogurt!

Ingredients
Roasted strawberries
- 4 cups (1 L) strawberries
- 4 sprigs of thyme
- 2 tablespoons (30 mL) honey
- 2 teaspoons (10 mL) balsamic vinegar
- Pepper, to taste
Toast
- 4 slices of bread
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) dairy-free cream cheese
- Zest of 1 lime, well washed
- 2 tablespoons (30 mL) honey

Preparation
Roasted strawberries
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for the roasted strawberries and spread on the cookie sheet.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Reserve.
Toast
- Toast the bread slices and spread cream cheese, a portion of roasted strawberries, lime zest and a drizzle of honey on each.
