Maple and Sea Salt Iced Latte

I often need a drink in the middle of the afternoon to give me energy for the rest of the day, and this maple and sea salt iced latte is my new favourite. It tastes just like salted caramel, but with all the right ingredients! Oatbox oat m*lk is a must!

Maple and Sea Salt Iced Latte
Ingredients
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 ml) flaked salt
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) maple syrup (or less, to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla
  • 1 or 2 shots of espresso
  • 2/3 cup (160 ml) Oatbox Barista Oat Drink
  • Ice cubes
Preparation
  • Place the salt flakes, maple syrup and vanilla into a small Mason jar. Pour the espresso into the jar. Close the jar and shake vigorously.
  • If desired, froth the oat drink cold.
  • Put a generous amount of ice cubes in a glass, then pour in the espresso and froth. Enjoy!
