Sesame, Banana and Chocolate Cookies
What about cookies made with fewer than five ingredients? These simple cookies are made with sesame seeds and bananas. This quick and easy recipe is perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth. You could also try the recipe with shredded coconut instead of sesame seeds.

- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 1/2 cups (240 g) toasted sesame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 ml) salt
- Vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup (60 g) chocolate chips
- Salt flakes for garnish

Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F and place the rack in the center. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas thoroughly. Add the toasted sesame seeds, cinnamon, and salt, and mix well.
- Spray the parchment paper with oil to prevent the cookies from sticking. Form patties with about 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of the mixture onto the baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes. Increase the temperature to 375°F and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown. While the cookies are still hot, use the back of a tablespoon to make a small indentation in the center of each cookie. Allow the cookies to cool completely.
- Place the chocolate chips in a small bowl and melt them in the microwave. Pour a little melted chocolate into the center of each cookie and let it set for 30 to 60 minutes at room temperature. Serve with salt flakes!
