Roasted sweet potato and beef bowl with Cajun spices
I imagine you’ve seen the famous sweet potato and ground beef bowl that’s gone viral on the networks. I can confirm: it’s as good as it looks! Here’s my Cajun-spiced version, perfect for a simple, tasty and quick meal. I like to serve these bowls with a touch of mayo and a few slices of pickled jalapeños for added punch. This is exactly the kind of recipe I make for myself on weeknights when time is short, and it’s just as delicious as lunch the next day!

Good to know
I love adding pickled jalapeños to my dishes. It’s a great way to add a touch of spiciness and acidity to recipes, without being too overpowering. But be warned, some are hotter than others!

They have a slight heat but are not usually very spicy. The spiciness level depends on the blend and how much chili it contains.
