Strawberry Protein Energy Bites
I always get a sugar craving in the middle of the afternoon. I see this as an opportunity to try out new recipes for healthy snacks, such as these strawberry protein energy bites. I used Good Protein’s all-in-one Strawberries & Cream drink, which is perfect for this time of year!

Ingredients
Energy Bites
- 1/2 cup (50 g) rolled oats
- 3/4 cup (90 g) oat flour
- 2/3 cup (60 g) Good Protein Strawberry & Cream all-in-one drink
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 ml) salt
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) dairy-free yoghurt
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) melted coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) vanilla
- 1/2 cup (80 g) finely diced strawberries
- Plant milk, as needed
Toppings
- 2/3 cup (120 g) dairy-free white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup (250 ml) powdered freeze-dried strawberries (optional)

Energy Bites
- In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, oat flour, Good Protein all-in-one drink mix and salt. Add the remaining ingredients and mix to form a paste.
- Line a small baking tray or plate with parchment paper. Shape the dough into 1 tablespoon (15 ml) balls using your hands and place them on the baking sheet.
Toppings
- Place the chocolate chips in a small bowl and melt them in 30-second intervals in the microwave.
- Dip the top of each energy bite into the white chocolate mixture, then place it on the baking sheet. Repeat for all bites. Garnish with freeze-dried strawberry powder, if desired. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Note
Protein bites keep for up to 5 days in the fridge.
