Refrigerated Oatmeal with Peanut Butter and Jam
I recently realized that I often neglected my breakfast due to lack of time. Yet it’s probably my favorite meal of the day, so to remedy the situation, I’ve developed this recipe for blended oats in the fridge and wow! The texture is so creamy, almost like a dessert!
I was inspired by a classic that I love: the peanut butter and jam duo. It’s nourishing, super-easy to prepare and really delicious. Give it a try!

- Preparation time: 5 minutes
The blended oats offer a much smoother, creamier texture than overnight oats which makes them particularly enjoyable for those who enjoy pudding-style breakfasts. Chia seeds play a key role: they naturally thicken the mixture while resting in the fridge, and add fiber and omega-3s.
For best results, leave to stand for at least 2 hours, but a full night will give an even firmer, tastier texture. If the mixture thickens too much, simply add a little vegetable drink just before serving.
Absolutely! This recipe would work really well with almond or cashew butter!
This recipe can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. It’s perfect for meal prep!
All plant-based drinks are effective, but if you want the creamiest version, I recommend using oat milk.
