Whenever I have guests over for an aperitif or dinner, I always serve oil for the bread.
It’s always the fastest to go, and everyone loves it!
I often try new combinations of ingredients, and I can guarantee that the one I’m proposing today is incredible!
The combination of garlic, parsley, green olives, smoked paprika and lemon zest is WOW!
It’s quick, simple and perfect for 5 à 7!

Garlic and Olive Dipping Oil
Ingredients

Dipping Oil

  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) white balsamic vinegar (or regular)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons (45 ml) finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup (50 g) pitted green olives, coarsely chopped or sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) smoked paprika
  • Zest of 1 well-washed lemon
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 ml) salt
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh bread of your choice, sliced

Dipping Oil

  • In a deep plate, gently combine all the oil ingredients.
  • Serve with sliced bread.
