Marry Me White Beans
This recipe is a vegan adaptation of the famous marry me chicken! I keep seeing this dish on social medias so I had to give it my personal touch! I decided to use white beans as a protein with cream and vegetable parmesan. The result is perfect and it doesn’t take more than 15 minutes to prepare!!!

Ingredients
Marry Me White Beans
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) dairy-free margarine
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) dried oregano
- 1 1/2 c. teaspoon (7.5 ml) paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) hot pepper flakes
- 3/4 teaspoon (3.75 ml) salt
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) sun-dried tomatoes
- 2 cans (398 ml each) white beans, well rinsed and drained
- 1 cup (250 ml) vegetable broth
- 1 cup (250 ml) Belsoy soy cream or other vegetable cream
- Vegan parmesan, to taste
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) finely chopped fresh basil + 2 tablespoons (30 ml) to garnish
- Pepper, to taste
- Toasted bread slices to serve

Marry Me White Beans
- In a large Dutch oven, heat margarine and oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add oregano, paprika, hot pepper flakes, salt and sun-dried tomatoes and cook for a further 3 minutes, stirring often. Add the white beans and stir gently.
- Add broth and soy cream and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat. Add the fresh basil and pepper and mix gently. Serve with slices of toasted bread and basil.
