Air Fryer Chicken Skewers
These delicious Air Fryer lemon-garlic chicken skewers are a perfect weeknight meal that everyone will love! The maple sauce is definitely my favorite part of the dish!

Ingredients
Maple and Garlic Sauce
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) maple syrup
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Zest of 1 lemon, well washed
Cucumber and Avocado Salad
- 3 avocados, cubed
- 2 English cucumbers, cubed
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) basil
- 1 green onion, finely chopped
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) olive oil
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) lemon juice
- 2 tsp (10 ml) maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp (1.25 ml) salt
- Pepper, to taste
Chicken Skewers
- Zest of 1 lemon, well washed
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) lemon juice
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
- 2 tsp (10 ml) paprika
- 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) smoked paprika (optional)
- 2 tsp (10 ml) herbes de Provence
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3/4 tsp (3.75 ml) salt
- Pepper, to taste
- 6 to 8 chicken thighs, cubed
- 6 to 10 wooden skewers

Preparation
Maple and Garlic Sauce
- In a small bowl, combine all sauce ingredients.
Cucumber and Avocado Salad
- In a bowl, combine all salad ingredients.
Chicken Skewers
- In a bowl, combine all skewer ingredients, excluding chicken thighs. Add chicken thighs and toss gently. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Thread chicken pieces onto skewers.
- Place skewers in Air Fryer basket, taking care not to overload, and cook in Air Fryer at 400°F for 12 minutes, turning halfway through cooking.
- Brush chicken skewers with maple-garlic sauce.
- Serve with avocado and cucumber salad and sriracha mayonnaise, if desired.
