Warm Lemon Olives
THE simplest and easiest appetizer recipe! It’s always a big hit, and what’s fantastic about this recipe is that it’s a two-in-one: the olives are tasty, and the oil in which the olives are cooked is out of this world and perfect for dipping into good slices of bread!

Ingredients
Warm Olives
- 2/3 cup (160 ml) olive oil
- 2 375 ml jars of Sardo pitted green olives
- 1 chili pepper, halved
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) white wine
- Two large zests of a well-washed lemon
- 5 sprigs thyme
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) salt
- Pepper, to taste

Warm Olives
- Preheat oven to 350°F and place rack in center.
- In an ovenproof dish, place all ingredients and stir gently. Bake for 25 minutes. Serve while still a little warm, with slices of fresh bread to dip in the olive oil!
