Tuna Tartare Nachos

A while back, I saw a recipe for nacho-style poke and it immediately captured my interest. The corn chips were replaced by wonton chips, but I couldn’t find any… So here’s a Mexican tuna tartare version with corn chip instead! You’ll see, it’s absolutely delicious! It’s super quick to make and is perfect for a date night!

Tuna Tartare Nachos
Ingredients

Spicy Mayo

  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) hot sauce of your choice

Nachos

  • 3 cups (750 ml) tortilla chips
  • 280 g fresh sushi red tuna, cubed
  • 1/2 avocado, thinly sliced
  • 1 diced mango
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) coriander leaves

Spicy Mayo

  • In a small bowl, combine all mayonnaise ingredients.

Nachos

  • Place the tortilla chips on a large plate, followed by the tuna, avocado, mango, green onion and coriander leaves. Drizzle with spicy mayonnaise and serve immediately.
