Egg Flight
I know I’m a bit behind the trend, but the famous Egg Flight has been on my list for a very long time, and I can finally share my own version with you! It’s a great protein snack that can totally be adjusted to your tastes!
If you haven’t seen it in the past, this trend consists of topping hard-boiled eggs with all sorts of fun fillings! Here are 4 totally different and delicious ones!

Ingredients
Eggs
- 4 eggs
Topping 1
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) mayonnaise
- 2 chips of your choice
- Pitted green olives
- Zest of 1/2 lemon, well washed
Topping 2
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) tagine
- Zest of 1/2 lime, well washed
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) mayonnaise
- 2 slices pickled jalapeño
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) honey (I used spicy honey!)
Topping 3
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) yellow mustard
- 2 slices pickle of your choice
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) cooked bacon or pancetta
- 2 sprigs fresh dill
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) celery seed (optional)
- Tabasko for garnish
Topping 4
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) mayonnaise
- 1/2 green onion, chopped
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) sesame seeds
- Drizzle of toasted sesame oil
- Sriracha for garnish

Preparation
Eggs
- In a saucepan of boiling water, cook eggs for 9 minutes. Transfer to a bowl of iced water for 5 minutes. Peel eggs and slice in half.
Topping 1
- Garnish two egg halves with mayonnaise, potato chips, green olives and lemon zest.
Topping 2
- In a small dish, combine tajin and lime zest. Dip two egg halves in tajin mixture.
- Garnish with mayonnaise, pickled jalapeno and honey.
Topping 3
- Top two egg halves with mayonnaise, mustard, pickle, bacon, dill, celery seed and tabasko.
Topping 4
- Top two egg halves with mayonnaise, green onions, sesame seeds, toasted sesame oil and sriracha.
