Parisian getaway!

I was lucky enough to travel to Paris during the holiday season and it was totally magical! Seeing this city that’s already so charming with Christmas decorations on top and Christmas trees everywhere, it was just wow. Of course, I had to find new restaurants, patisseries and cafés, so I thought I’d share my finds with you! The addresses I suggest offer either a 100% dairy-free menu or a menu that can be adapted! Most of these restaurants also offer vegetarian alternatives.

1- Land & Monkeys: a 100% plant-based pastry. Yes, yes, I was in heaven! I must have been there 4 times to try as many delicacies as possible! I highly recommend the almond croissant!

2- Liza: I had a delicious hummus there with a pickle garnish!!! (those who know me know that my passion for pickles is unsurpassed!)

3- Merci: a store with a crazy concept! I wanted to bring everything home… It’s a good thing my suitcases were already packed, I would have made a mess otherwise… I did bring back a few items that you’ll see in my food photos soon!

4- Green Farmers: for the best vegan burgers!

5- Gare au gorille: a small neighborhood restaurant that offers a seasonal menu and where the cuisine has generously adapted to my allergies. The staff are super friendly!

6- Aujourd’hui demain: a vegan address not to be missed if you’re visiting Paris! I must go back and try their mac&no-cheese!!!!

7- Grouvie: a bar in a little hidden passage in Saint-Germain-des-Prés that I loved so much! It’s on the 3rd floor of a restaurant and its list of cocktails and mocktails is super original! A must!

8- Le train bleu: probably the most beautiful restaurant I’ve ever seen! It’s located in the Gare de Lyon in Paris, and the decor is sublime. You feel like you’re in a château, eating classic French dishes! It’s more expensive than my other recommendations, but totally worth it!

9- Yummy and Guiltfree: a small gluten-free waffle shop with several dairy-free options. Perfect for warming up on colder days!
