  • Food-themed ornaments!

If you’ve seen my Christmas tree on my social networks, you know that I’ve been collecting all kinds of ornaments imitating my favorite foods for a few years now. To complete my tree, I think I’d need a block of tofu and a bottle of hot sauce!

My favorites:

The gherkin, a must

The colorful Hot Dog

Avocado toast

Bowl of ramen noodles

  • Funky placemats!

I don’t know why, but I think placemats make such great gifts. It’s the kind of item that you might not budget for, but that makes all the difference when you’re setting the table!

My favorites:

Madeline embroidered cotton placemat

Multicolored placemat

Doily with scalloped edges

  • A cookbook, because you can never have enough!

Gourmand autrement by K pour Katrine: Well, I don’t think I need to justify why this (gorgeous) book is in my gift suggestions… If you don’t already have it, I really think it’s THE perfect gift to receive this Christmas. We promise you lots of great recipes that are super tasty, easy to prepare and always delicious! Réconfort by Ottolenghi: those who know me know that Ottolenghi is a great source of inspiration for me. He takes us on a journey through his recipes, and the flavours are always there! Réconfort” is his latest addition, just in time for winter! I’m also a big fan of his book “Simple”!

  • Colorful plates

I love having a wide selection of plates for entertaining, and I find it’s always more fun with a little touch of color!

My favorites:

The small monochrome plate

Set of 4 dessert plates

  • A baking dish

Yes, this option may cost a little more than the others, but it’s a gift that will last a long time!

Here are a few examples:

Staub’s tomato-shaped casserole… I’m obsessed.

I use Remy Olivier’s Aspen saucepan ALL the time!

A Le Creuset stewpot. I’m partial to pink…

  • A beautiful cutting board

You’ve probably seen it in my videos, but I SO love my cutting board and think it’s the perfect gift!!!

  • Salad utensils

I find it a must to have beautiful salad utensils when entertaining. I particularly like these two options:

Heidi set

Set in smoked teak

  • A quality pepper shaker

Honestly, I find that a good quality pepper shaker makes ALL the difference. I’ve had Trudeau’s for a year now and can’t live without it!

Here are a few others I’ve been eyeing:

Everybody spice mill

Multi Bob pink spice mill

Classic pepper mill
