3 Girls and a Weekend in London!

At the beginning of October, I went to visit one of my best friends who lives in London. It had been about seven years since my last visit, and I loved it. I had four full days, so I didn’t stop for a second. I wanted to see everything, but I quickly realised that London is a huge city and that I’d probably have to go back to see more of it. As always, I’ll share my recommendations with you if you’d like to visit this magnificent city too!

My favourite places

1. Spitalfields: I absolutely loved the atmosphere in this neighbourhood and its market!

2. Shoreditch et Islington: These two neighbourhoods are THE place to be for fans of interior design and tableware shops like me! A few not-to-be-missed shops: Earl of East, AIDA, Haygen and Aria.

3. Victoria & Albert Museum: A must-see for fans of history and sculpture! It’s a must-see in London.

4. Natural History Museum: Another renowned London museum, and for good reason! It’s a beautiful museum to explore with your family.

5. South Kensignton: I really liked this neighbourhood because of its architecture and museums!

6. Notting Hill: It is a classic place to visit and revisit! Go on a Saturday to experience Portobello Market.

7. Big Ben: Touristy, but essential. This impressive and magnificent monument is a must-see.

8. Hampstead: This neighbourhood in North London was on my list, but unfortunately I didn’t have time to visit. It will definitely be on my itinerary next time I visit London, it looks so charming!

9. Covent Garden: A stroll through the charming neighbourhood of Covent Garden is a must when visiting London. In my opinion, it has the most beautiful shop fronts!

10. Liberty: In my opinion, Liberty is the most beautiful shop in London, with neo-Tudor architecture that makes it stand out from all the other buildings in the area. Head to the third-floor kitchen section for the most beautiful selection of kitchen and dining room items!

11. Harrods: A visit to Harrods is a must when visiting London. Personally, I only go there for the food hall, which never fails to fascinate me. Their selection of tea and chocolate is impressive, and their packaging is iconic.

Restaurants, bars and cafés

1. Ottolenghi: The best meal I had on my trip! Chef Yotam Ottolenghi is a huge inspiration to me, so I just had to try his restaurant. Of course, I wasn’t disappointed. The food was delicious, the service attentive, and the overall experience fantastic. I recommend sharing everything so you can try as many dishes as possible!

2. The Barbary: I had booked a table at The Barbary, but our plans changed and I had to cancel my reservation. I really regretted it afterwards, when I was told that it was an unforgettable experience. Nevertheless, I’m recommending it because I’ve heard nothing but good things about this Berber-influenced restaurant!

3. Jolene: This tiny café is really charming! It’s the perfect place to grab a coffee on the go!

4. Audley Public House:In my opinion, a trip to London isn’t complete without stopping at a pub. The Audley Public House is a friendly and welcoming pub in the Mayfair neighbourhood with a beautiful location! I recommend going at the end of the day to secure a seat and admire the interior! Cheers!

5. Park Chinois: I had the chance to try this restaurant on my first visit to London, and I loved it. The unique, cosy décor alone makes it worth a visit. The singer makes it even more incredible, and the food is superb, too!
